Having owned the property since 1964, Bill decided that it was time to give Connie a place besides the tent to stay in.  An old friend Martin Hale invited some of his flying friends to drop in and that  kicked off the whole adventure.  The log " tent" became the first new cabin, then a second one was built for Bill's parents.  In 2000 construction began on a new hangar which was really to become a grand place to hold the annual "Splash In".  We love to share the place with our old and new friends.
